New Trends in Business Education

Objectives

The overriding objective of the conference is to support faculties of business in their endeavor to improve their educational provision and role in society in line with the best world practices.


To this end the conference will seek to achieve the following:

  • To urge and encourage administrators and faculty in business education to contemplate their current approaches to ethics education and to explore methods to strengthen this vital part of the curriculum.
  • To stimulate interest in alternative approaches and models for developing the design, delivery, and evaluation of business education
  • To address the challenges facing business schools and their impact on the future trends in business education.
  • To Provide networking opportunities between Arab business educators and their international counterparts.
  • To engage government and business leaders in the effort to advance business education.
  • Disseminating awareness of international business accreditation standards, criteria, and processes.
  • To launch the Case Study Initiative dedicated to promoting the writing and teaching of cases in management educations including the launch of a Local Case Study Award.
  • To debate the way forward for Management Education in the Arab World.
  • To develop teaching skills for management educators through capacity-building workshops.
